Your guitar pick fires by itself. All you do is move: scroll, drag, or slide a finger (the pick rides just above it). Move fast and the pick banks, so shots fly off at an angle. That is how you reach the edges.
Invaders sway in formation and creep down. If a wave reaches you, you lose one of three. Every few seconds one peels off and dives.
Perk: 10 points an invader, double for a diver caught mid swoop, plus a bonus for clearing the wave. The music speeds up as you go.
